Bespoke garments that you’ll love forever.
Summer Commissions
Y’all know that I love to crochet. The crochet ghost family that comes out for halloween and the mainstay amigurumi plants in the Yoga Baum lobby definitely give me away if you haven’t already seen me in my beloved bird cardigans.
What you may not know, is that every now and then, I succumb to the creative compulsion to make as many fun fiber and color combinations of the same item as I can muster. Last winter it was mosaic crochet hats and mittens.
This summer it’s crop tank tops.
Examples from last winter’s hat/mitten-crochet frenzy.
This summer, I’m taking 5 commissions for crop tank tops.
I am working with premium fibers from my favorite small businesses, and I’m sourcing them from Louisville Fiber Supply.
Fiber Options and Pricing
I’m working with luxury yarns from Ritual Dyes and Juniper Moon Farm.
I can advise you in your fiber choice to achieve the fit and feel you’re looking for, but…
Right now, I’m OBSESSED with pairing this ethically sourced baby alpaca/nylon blend with kid mohair/silk. The color combos give the tank a dimension that you can’t look away from and the feel is like butter. This is my firm recommendation if you don’t have any sensitivities to these fibers. The drape this combo creates is also lovely.
Alpaca/Nylon + Mohair/Silk: starting at $250
This fiber combination of baby alpaca/nylon and kid mohair/silk is a true luxury. The silk gives it a beautiful shine and you can dress it up or down. I’m smitten and have plans for many other color combos and sizes.
Closeups and other color combos that excited me in alpaca/nylon + mohair/silk.
The organic cotton/linen is classic and breezy. It feels more structured, and the subtle variegation in this Ritual Dyes selection is gorgeous.
Cotton/linen also pairs beautifully with mohair/silk. The mohair gives the top a halo affect and dresses up the cotton.
Organic Cotton/Linen: starting at $225
+ Mohair/Silk: starting at $250
Here are examples of the cotton/linen +mohair/silk combo
This superwash merino from Ritual Dyes is shiny and comes in many fun, variegated colors. I recommend this yarn all by its lonesome and do not recommend pairing it with another. It is delightfully soft and the drape is lovely.
Superwash Merino: starting at $250

These tanks are meant to be cropped and relaxed in fit. I’m modeling different sizes and fibers in the pictures. Your measurements and preferred fit will determine the size.
Final pricing depends on fibers and size.
I’ll close commissions on July 11, 2026 or when I receive 5 commissions. Once I finish this round I’ll open another round when I’m ready :)
You can expect your final garment in less than 4 weeks after materials are acquired.
A lot of love and time goes into handmade items. Each step of the process, from the crocheting, to the washing, and the finishing is done with care and precision. All commissions are custom made-to-order and are non-refundable.
